I will have to get him some lamb when we go there, and goat if he has any. I wonder where I could find rabbit?

I don't have a credit card, and have yet to sign up for PayPal. Do you know of anyone who ships to Canada?

Answer:
The kids had left over beef mince, chicken necks and carrot again tonight. Tomorrow and the weekend will probably be chicken and minced vegies, and some kind of organ meat.
Anna that is wonderful news . Please keep us updated on how you (And of course he puppers) go on the new diet.

Answer:
This morning the girls had 1 lb of boneless pork and Buck had 1.5 lbs. Not sure what I'm going to feed him for dinner yet.

I can let you know later today. I'm at work right now but I have a few websites bookmarked on my laptop at home. I'm not positive they ship to Canada though I think they might.

Answer:
Nanook, Kaige & Raustyk will be having whole chicken again tonight, with some organs & eggs. While I'll be eating hot dogs. lol

I haven't been able to find rabbit at local butchers but I found some ground up patties (whole animal or close as far as I know) from Urban Carnivore.. which is sold at Tisols and a few other places. It's ridiculously expensive though. I think it was around $25 for 4 pounds.. definitely not something I'll be feeding often lol.

Some of the things are really cheap, some are more expensive, but best of all is that the animals are humanely raised and killed. Makes me happy Anyway, I can give you the link to their yahoo group. The lady who owns the place is really nice and very good with letting you know that your order is ready & being shipped.
I just might be interested in that if it's a decent price. I'd love the link...send it right along
PS Congrats on the new freezer!
I'm going to have to go out and get our big freezer ready if I keep doing this (which I'm pretty sure I will!). I have the whole bottom half of our freezer full of the dogs food

Wow! I wouldn't spend that much on rabbit, especially considering it's not whole. I will probably go to several butcher shops, and hopefully I can find some rabbit. There is a place in Langley that sells ostrich, venison, buffalo and bison - but it is probably really expensive.

They havn't eaten yet but i am enjoying this thread, and getting some wonderful meal ideas. I found some turkey mince and lamb flaps in the freezer so hopefully they will be thawed out enough for them to eat tonight, if not it will be chicken and vegies (& supplements).
