Eccentric Cat Issues (Cross Posted in General Cat forum)

Question:
Hello all.. I have a rather eccentric feline, and a situation with a new feline. First the background info... The Queen of the world (Aka Azraea) lol has been our fur kid for 6 years now.. she herself is about 6.5 years of age. We adopted her from the New Orleans ASPCA, where she had a rather interesting history. At the time they kept animals for 3 weeks max. Azraea had been there about 2.5 weeks. Being a beautiful half havana brown mix, people had been interested, but as soon as they got near her cage.. she had a hissy fit. Needless to say the look on the vets face when she purred at seeing us walk by her cage and meowed as if to say "Its about time you got here!" was priceless hehe. To this day for some reason Azraea hates EVERYONE, except us, whom she dotes on as much as we do her. She has rarely had much to do with other animals, as we noticed right off she seemed to hate other animals as much as she hated other people. (She has been known to try and take on german shepards.) Out of the cats she has had to endure off and on (we have cat baby sat around 3 times in the last 6 years.) She has only gotten along with one other cat. A very submissive female who worshiped the ground she walked on. (followed her around, copied her, never tried to take her food..yadda yadda.) So we know it is possible for her to deal with other cats. Now that you have the background on our Azraea... here is the situation... We have another kitten, a 8 week old male who is at this moment sleeping on my chest lol. She hates him... hissing when she sees him.. all the things she has done to every other human and animal she has seen (other than us and that one female cat.) She doesn't attack or anything, she pretty much avoids him and acts out only when she sees him. We want to keep both felines. Azraea is Declawed (front only) and Spayed... he to will have these procedures done in the future. While we want to keep both cats, we have no clue how to get Azraea to accept him. (Eclypse.. the male kitten, has no problem with her.) How do we get Azraea to accept the new kitten? In the end, whether this kitten stays is up to her lol. (We have him on loan so to speak from my brother who owns the mother of the kitten.) Thanks for your time, as well as patience in reading this rather long post. I look forward to any suggestions. =)
Answer:
Has your furry princess got a fav food if so get her and the male kitten in a room and as soon as she stops hissing or if she ignors him give it to her. She may not have been socilized as a kitten so you need to make up for it now, also get your friends and family round one at a time to just come in and give her a treat so she gets more friendly towards people.
